Lauren1311 design for the National Zoo Contest
This year the National Zoo in Washington, DC ran a poster contest and 23 students from Mount Prospect School entered a design. I just got the news last night that Lauren1311 (4th grade) received an honorable mention in the National Zoo Poster Contest! Congratulations Lauren and keep up the excellent work! Her poster will be displayed with the other honorable mentions in the Zoo's Mane Restaurant during their winter celebration ZooLights which beings this Friday, December 4th (details can be found by visiting http://nationalzoo.si.edu/ActivitiesAndEvents/Celebrations/ZooLights/default.cfm).
